In this work, we propose a radiation-tolerant continuous-time pipeline analog-to-digital converter (ADC) aimed for space applications. The SEE error in discrete-time (DT) ADC will persist until the next sample due to the nature of sampled information, while in continuous-time (CT) ADC the error can dissipate before the next stage sample due to continuous input driving. To solve the delay mismatch in CT pipeline ADC, the DAC injection point is calibrated to reduce the delay difference. SEE-tolerant pseudo-differential comparator is implemented in the sub-quantizer to reduce SEE errors and signal-dependent kickback. |
