IP개요 | Demand for mobile devices that perform various functions is increasing. Therefore, a DC-DC converter supplies many voltages to each block is essential. A SIMO converter that supplies multiple voltage with one inductor could be a good solution to overcome the limitations of area and cost. This paper proposes a high-efficient converter with small output voltage ripple to solve the problems of the existing buck-boost converter. The proposed structure operates in three modes depending on the input voltage. In each mode, switching loss, conduction loss, and output voltage ripple are reduced. In addition, cross regulation can be reduced by using fixed freewheeling duty. The proposed structure will be fabricated with DB 180nm BCDMOS process to produce output voltage of 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V with an input voltage range of 1.8V-5V. |
