This IP proposes a three-level buck-boost converter to supply stable voltage and achieve high efficiency for IoT power systems. The three-level operation and structure in the DC-DC converter reduce inductor current ripple, decreasing the RMS value of the current, which in turn improves efficiency and reduces output voltage ripple. Additionally, the continuous output current delivery characteristic allows for rapid voltage recovery even under unstable conditions where the load current varies.
