This IP includes the design of the direct injection-locked quadrature voltage-controlled oscillators (DIC-QVCOs) and Its application in wireless communication systems. The direct injection locking technique provides a quadrature signals output with low phase noise, low power consumption, and compact chip size. In this paper, discusses the design and implementation of the DIC-QVCO, as well as its performance characteristics such as phase noise, frequency stability, and power consumption which are implemented in 180-nm CMOS technology, the chip has an active area of 5x2.42 mm2 and it operates at 900 MHz. |
